Tips
Use the same pan to cook your chicken and apples so as to get the most flavor out of the cooking process; add chicken stock to a hot pan and let it reduce and scrape the bottom of the pan to release all the flavors; as well as making cleanup more easy
Add some of the water from the orzo pasta to help thicken up your sauce
When you combine your pasta and sauce let them cook together and let the sauce reduce more to coat the pasta in flavor
I used green apples but if you want more sweetness, you can use a combination of granny smith (green apples) and gala or some other sweet red apple
When cooking your chicken make sure you don’t move it around or flip it to achieve a golden-brown coloring
Also, after cooking the chicken let it rest before cutting into it this gives the juices time to disperse through the chicken and helps keep it juicy
Don’t be afraid to taste your dish and adjust seasoning as you see fit
